Necromunda House Escher bolter conversion WIP 1

After looking over the necromunda gang house Escher box I decide I really wanted to started out with jumping into converting many of the weapons. The aim of my immediate work will to get many of the weapons cleaned up and fine to the basic form. First of these weapons will be the gang leaders range weapons the combi bolter/needler. I hope lay the ground work for future conversion of this fun bolter gun, first step will to take of the leaders arm from the bit of the spru, than clean up by saving the material and sanding where I can as much as possible. This is going to take some time for extra focus to detail and precision cuts, while there are two of these weapons in the box I rather not have to use that one yet. This a rough drawing next to the spru bit and my general idea and aim. So once I have the House Escher bolter down to its basic form it will open a create desk of opportunity for expanding armament options for house Escher gangs or any other warhammer faction that c

Unboxing: Necromunda House Escher Gang

This is exciting finally get a look at the miniatures from warhammmer necromunda game. There is so.much rich history and fun connect to the old game and background and now to see it be revived it just amazing. Personal note: with life responsibilities not all day able to take time for the hobby of miniatures let alone my art, working to be more frequent with post and updates I have found it really helps me relax. So the Escher Gang box. I'm kinda impressed with box art, Will post the original art peicevwhen I can find it. Now onto looking at the contents. So we have have two stories of miniatures that are exactly the same, instructions and a set of 10 special round bases for the miniatures.   Each of these bases are highly detailed and shaped to mimic the necromunda  (and zone mortalis forgeworld boards) I think of have some fun ideas for converting even the bases Will have to experiment at a later time. Front and back few if the miniature spruce both

Chaos Hounds Conversion W.I.P. 2

This a long over due continuations of a started a while back. Since I have begun being more diligent on continue to post on this blog as I refocus on my arts and hobby field there needs to be a healthy balance of sharing new stuff and old. Tonight once home from work I got busy eating up and continuing my work of these chaos hounds conversion into Wolf Rats. I had taken photos previously of progress a while back the images have been lost. So im continueing with out them. Add caption Over all work on the wolf rat conversion so far. This is end result of my work from this session of work on them. Two of the ten hounds had the most focus and since I'm still experimenting with the Greenstuff I have no set streamlined method for them yet. This the first one I started on you see here the build of Greenstuff to created the tail which is far from done, the ears the eyes and the front teeth. The teeth where made using yellow plastic from a generic sigh bought at a hardwarestore.

Zvezda Castle tower experimenting 1, W.I.P. 1

A while back i was exploring a local book and game store called the griffon I made discovery of zvesta company of products. Specifically there awesome castle terrain pieces. Ive gone back several times and cleared out ll the stuck they have of these kits. In this blog post I'm going to show you the results of those terrain peices I've built already and my crazy idea to modify them. The focus will be the Trap doors that are a static unmoving decorative relieve in the plastic floors of each tower. Now there is no real need to make these modification for any R.P.G. or any use of gaming with these towers.this is simply my fun personal challenge. This a group shot of all the tower kits from Zvezda company I have made so far.  Tgere are three standard square stone towers, one drawbridge tower and gate hpuse tower. I have to say I'm very pleased with all there product I had time to work with. On a later date I'll go into more indepth review of all there models I'

Death Guard power pack conversion WIP

Continue the work cutting up the models to find I want use to create something can be fun. It does create the issue sometimes being so involved one forgets to take photos. The idea behind all this work is trying a make these power pack not only more appealing to me but make more functional in the fictional sense of making sure these packs have the jet exhausted as intend in all power. It's something I just need to be there for my own sanity. Looking at my work table you can see the freed power packs from Death Guard starter box as well as the power packs from chaos booster box for lack other term. The first power pack being my favorite from the box with central skull on the back and the tentacles holding the plasma gun. The plasma gun was removed at set aside to be clean up for another conversion in progress. With removing the plasma gun it did prosent the problem of the lower combonets damage or removed in the process. I'll use the similar price from the older chaos marin

Death Guard and pox walker getting started boxs

So made another purchase at favorite hobby store and started another project. I purchased the starting box kits for death Guard and pox walkers. After a fun conversation with another miniature hobbyist I took these two boxes home to begin the work of cutting cleaning and reshaping quite a few of the compoments in both kits. Looking at the pox walker sprue I'm really impressed with all the details and I'll ask of assemble if the miniatures. I decided to cut and collect all the nurgle fly icons That I can from box kits but starting with poxwalers first. The goal of cutting them will be made a small sprue and mold to replicate as many as needed for converting future miniatures dedicated to nurgle both in fantasy and 40k warhammer. Now there a pox walker in this box I really like for the gas mask and rotted fire axe he weilds. I very much what to have more so I cut it out and began cleaning off the hands and slime to make it more universal to use wither miniatures. This will de

Chaos Hounds Converson W.I.P. 2

So continuing the work on these 10 little beast and having a blast. A lot of my work was put towards catching up all the hounds to have at least have the wire base of the tails installed which has developed into less of a  chore as I refine the steps to this part of the process. Getting some good practice to with new clay shapers tools, they continue to be a dream. Onto the show of photos. Eres the chaos puppy pile So I can't tell enough the simply thing of these hounds having matching numbers to each half of the body, how much it help keep things straight as I fly through working on them in the crazy hours of the night and morning. So here are the guardening wire used to be the base of the tails. I made different lengths to kinda keep with the chaos. The end result of using a dremel and knife is too made a hole for the wire to come through and a groove between the halfs, the Grove is for giving the green stuff more surface to grab as well and make a more natural
