Over all work on the wolf rat conversion so far.
This is end result of my work from this session of work on them. Two of the ten hounds had the most focus and since I'm still experimenting with the Greenstuff I have no set streamlined method for them yet.
This the first one I started on you see here the build of Greenstuff to created the tail which is far from done, the ears the eyes and the front teeth. The teeth where made using yellow plastic from a generic sigh bought at a hardwarestore.
Here are better close up of the head of this beast.

Thiscis the second layer of green stuff place on the head, to build up the details and stretghen what was done previously.
I still what add more green stuff and bring out more details for the eyes and jaws. I'm not fully satisfied with the state of it right now but it's progress and learning.

The second wolf rat i focused on gab filling the length of the spine where the toy half if this model meet. When i used a clap on this one i didntbget the seal right not certain how but since it was the only one that had thatbproblem I decided to work it next.
After filling in the gap in the spine section I built up the green stuff and added detail to.l mimic fur i satigied with the work but what to practice more on that technique.agter that I began the process of adding eyes to the head, after the Greenstuff fully cures I'll be able to trim and remove material that got misplace in the sculpting process than add more details with additional layers of Greenstuff.
I may at a later point somehow lengthen the tails I'm not sure if I like the length of them so far.
This time I rolled green stuff into balls than added to the head instead placing green stuff on the head first than trying to shape it from there onward.

Now the chaos hounds models do have details that are meant to be eyes on them but there so small and buried in the fur as to be easily missed.

The other eight hounds to be converted in various stages of progress.

Well this what I have so far I look forward to feed back.

Unboxing: Necromunda House Escher Gang

This is exciting finally get a look at the miniatures from warhammmer necromunda game. There is so.much rich history and fun connect to the old game and background and now to see it be revived it just amazing. Personal note: with life responsibilities not all day able to take time for the hobby of miniatures let alone my art, working to be more frequent with post and updates I have found it really helps me relax. So the Escher Gang box. I'm kinda impressed with box art, Will post the original art peicevwhen I can find it. Now onto looking at the contents. So we have have two stories of miniatures that are exactly the same, instructions and a set of 10 special round bases for the miniatures.   Each of these bases are highly detailed and shaped to mimic the necromunda  (and zone mortalis forgeworld boards) I think of have some fun ideas for converting even the bases Will have to experiment at a later time. Front and back few if the miniature spruce both

Death Guard and pox walker getting started boxs

So made another purchase at favorite hobby store and started another project. I purchased the starting box kits for death Guard and pox walkers. After a fun conversation with another miniature hobbyist I took these two boxes home to begin the work of cutting cleaning and reshaping quite a few of the compoments in both kits. Looking at the pox walker sprue I'm really impressed with all the details and I'll ask of assemble if the miniatures. I decided to cut and collect all the nurgle fly icons That I can from box kits but starting with poxwalers first. The goal of cutting them will be made a small sprue and mold to replicate as many as needed for converting future miniatures dedicated to nurgle both in fantasy and 40k warhammer. Now there a pox walker in this box I really like for the gas mask and rotted fire axe he weilds. I very much what to have more so I cut it out and began cleaning off the hands and slime to make it more universal to use wither miniatures. This will de

Death Guard power pack conversion WIP

Continue the work cutting up the models to find I want use to create something can be fun. It does create the issue sometimes being so involved one forgets to take photos. The idea behind all this work is trying a make these power pack not only more appealing to me but make more functional in the fictional sense of making sure these packs have the jet exhausted as intend in all power. It's something I just need to be there for my own sanity. Looking at my work table you can see the freed power packs from Death Guard starter box as well as the power packs from chaos booster box for lack other term. The first power pack being my favorite from the box with central skull on the back and the tentacles holding the plasma gun. The plasma gun was removed at set aside to be clean up for another conversion in progress. With removing the plasma gun it did prosent the problem of the lower combonets damage or removed in the process. I'll use the similar price from the older chaos marin
